To survive in dignity is an art in itself for invalids, particularly children. The KIWI at Home team makes this life worth living. Within the scope of our social welfare activities we have been supporting the small nursing service unit for the intensive home care of children of the Würzburg KIWI organization free of charge since the end of 2009.
We are all the more pleased that KIWI at Home achieved the outstanding score of 1.7 in the MDK Audit 2010, a quality test for nursing services. KIWI owes this great achievement not only to its manager but also to its entire team, which performs its nursing duties in accordance with the highest ethical standards - duties which are above all mentally challenging and for which most of us would not have the strength to persevere, ending as most of these nursing assignments do at the crossroads which we all have to face but hopefully as late in life as possible.
KIWI at Home ensures the nursing care of children who are mostly extreme nursing cases through a small team of registered nurses with intensive care experience and relevant further training. The nursing and care services are provided and implemented in accordance with doctor’s instructions.
As several nursing cases have now come to an end, accompanied by the heartfelt sympathy and dedication of the KIWI team, KIWI at Home and its friendly and committed team have free capacities.
If you are aware of any cases in which intensive children’s care at home could be required in the region of Würzburg, Ms. Susanne Hofmann, Sebastian-Merkle-Strasse 13, 97074 Würzburg, Phone 0931-887982, will be happy to assist, or contact KIWI under www.kiwizuhause.de. Feel free to pass on this web address to any of your friends and acquaintances who may be in need of the KIWI at Home services.
We wish the entire KIWI at Home team all the best for the future. We believe that they can be proud of their work and their achievements so far.
